Primark has opened its doors in Milan with its first shop in the centre of the Lombard capital. The new Primark Milan is located in Via Torino and is a space of over 7,000 m2 with retail and office space over seven floors. This is the third Primark store in the Milan area, after Arese and Rozzano in the outskirts, but the first in the city centre. Primark Milan will be open every day from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 10pm.

The new Primark flagship store in Italy has 5 floors open to the public, where customers are already able to buy the latest fashion trends and must-have items for every day, as well as Primark's famous licensed collections, including Disney products, that have been a huge success with Italian customers.
The Via Torino store is also home to an area dedicated to the latest denim trends, as well as a wide range of clothing with the 'Primark Cares' eco-friendly label. Along with Primark Italian national offices, the building also houses a new press showroom in the 2 floors above the shop.

This opening represents an important milestone for Primark in its ongoing expansion in Europe and the United States. Milan's new Primark store is the 9th shop in Italy and the 3rd in the city of Milan, in addition to being the 1st ever in the city centre. The expansion plan in Italy foresees another five openings, as the Irish company also plans its forthcoming debut in the Romanian market.
Luca Ciuffreda, Head of Primark in Italy, said: "Our new flagship store and Italian headquarters in Milan represents a real milestone in our expansion in Italy. This store will also house the new Primark Italy national offices and a dedicated press showroom. In other words, it is a fantastic starting point to continue our successful growth in Italy".

The Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, also had his say: "For the big brands, having their own store in our city is an added value, just as it is for Milan to host them. The opening of Primark's flagship store and Italian headquarters in Via Torino is a clear and tangible demonstration of this. In these complex times, investing in the opening of a new store and offering new job opportunities, requires more courage and confidence than usual: for this reason Primark deserves a warm welcome. And I am sure that the Milanese people will give the right welcome to this important Irish brand, famous for its great fashion at affordable prices".
