Returning southwards is Campo Staffi, a mountain destination between Lazio and Abruzzo. This ski resort in the province of Frosinone boasts many things to see and do. When the snow falls plentifully, six ski lifts and several pistes suitable for every type of skier are opened. For cross-country skiers, then, there are three loops winding through the woods.

Nestled in the heart of the Abruzzo Apennines, Ovindoli is an ideal destination an hour and forty minutes from Rome.
