Florence has opened its 5th Starbucks store, the 44th in Italy, in collaboration with Percassi, the exclusive partner of the brand in the country. The new outlet will contribute to the local economy by creating 26 new jobs. The store is located on Via del Corso, in the heart of the historic centre, inside the stunning Palazzo Portinari Salviati, just a short distance from famous landmarks such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, renowned for Brunelleschi’s dome in Piazza del Duomo.
Covering an area of 200 square metres and offering over 30 seats, the store pays homage to Florence’s exceptional architectural and artistic heritage. The design reflects the linear motifs of the cathedral's facade, paired with a colour palette that echoes the green and terracotta hues typical of Florentine Renaissance buildings. The setting is further enriched by botanical artworks inspired by the vineyards surrounding the city.
The Starbucks menu will offer its full range of products, including the famous Pumpkin Spice Latte. To fully embrace the autumn season, the Autumn menu’s seasonal drinks, featuring pumpkin and maple syrup flavours, will also be available. There will be a wide selection of food as well, including baked goods, bagels, and toast, perfect for breakfast, lunch, snacks, or dinner. For a quick break, customers can choose between an Espresso or a Frappuccino®, customisable with their preferred ingredients and flavours.
