One in Piedmont, the other in Emilia Romagna. These are two stunning luxury villas that will be auctioned at the end of July by Miami-based Platinum Luxury Auctions and are being offered for sale by the owner, who decided to sell them by skipping the traditional sales route. Both properties are available for a preliminary viewing every day until 19 July, the date by which bidders must formally register to participate in the auction.
"The seller is an experienced investor with a technology background. He considers efficiency and speed to be crucial, and the luxury auction® process perfectly fulfils both characteristics," explained Trayor Lesnock, founder and president of Platinum.

The two properties, named Villa Romanelli and Villa Gavazzini, will be put up for auction without reserve, i.e. they will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the bid amount. "By removing the element of asking price from the sales process, and instead allowing bidders to set their own price, a huge market efficiency is created and the excessive time and costs normally associated with finding a buyer are eliminated," Lesnock added. The properties will be sold individually in a live auction event scheduled for 21 July in Milan, with one round of bidding for each villa.

Villa Romanelli is located in Lessona, a charming town in Piedmont, situated at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by beautiful mountains and valleys. It is also a 50-minute drive west of Milan, one of Italy's most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities.

Villa Romanelli offers a living space of over 900 m², with 8 bedrooms, 7 full bathrooms and 1 service bathroom. It is located on a 5,000 m2 plot with manicured landscaping, enclosed by a perimeter fence with an entrance gate. The main features are large bedrooms, numerous balconies and an infinity pool with mountain views.

Villa Gavazzini is located about 90 minutes southeast of the centre of Milan, in the province of Piacenza. First built in the 15th century, the property served as the main defence tower for the nearby Gropparello Castle and belonged to several important families during the 16th century.

Villa Gavazzini, now converted into a modern estate, offers a living space of 800 m², with 9 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms and 1 service bathroom. The number of beds and bathrooms makes the villa ideal for large families, luxury rentals or as a venue for high-end events. It also has a large terrace overlooking the Italian countryside.

Real estate brokers are encouraged to let their buyers participate in the auction and if they represent the highest bidder they will be entitled to a commission.
