Who will receive Italy's 200 euro bonus in August?

Italy's 200 euro bonus introduced to fight the cost of living crisis in the country has already been paid out for some categories. If you're still waiting for your 200 euros, it's on its way, as we find out who will receive the 200 euro bonus in August 2022.

Many employees in Italy had expected to receive the 200 euro bonus already in recent weeks, but this was not the case. The reason is simple, as in many cases the salary paid in July actually refers to the previous month, i.e. June. According to PMI.it, this is a legitimate doubt, but the authorities in Italy have reassured citizens that the payment of the 200 euro bonus is guaranteed for those particular categories of workers who routinely receive their salary the following month.

The majority of pensioners and civil servants have already received the 200 euro bonus and many did so as early as the beginning of July. Private employees with month-to-month credit, on the other hand, who only have the next month's overrun by a few days for the disbursement will have to wait until approximately the first week of August.

In addition, some citizenship income recipients will also receive the 200 euro bonus in August. This is the case of recipients who, after receiving the benefit for 18 consecutive months until June 2022, had to apply for a renewal and thus missed a month, that of July. For them, the bonus will arrive by 15th August 2022.
