idealista strengthens its technological leadership with the purchase 2 of Italy's best real estate software companies

idealista, the leading real estate portal for technological development in Italy, has strengthened its position with the purchase of two of the best real estate software companies, Miogest and Gestim, for an undisclosed amount. This operation was managed during the recent months of confinement during which the teams of the three companies agreed on the final details of the deal, thanks to their technological culture and speed of negotiation, and despite working remotely.

This move from idealista confirms its technological commitment to serving Italian real estate professionals.

In the last four months, despite the COVID-19 lockdown, idealista has developed a new feature almost every week, aimed at facilitating property searches for the millions of Italians who use the platform. Among other things, idealista has launched 3D tours, a powerful tool to visit the spaces of homes as if you were actually inside them. This display mode leverages the thousands of multimedia contents that accompany idealista listings, world leader in audiovisual and multimedia content related to the real estate sector. More concretely, idealista in Italy has more listings with virtual tours than all the other real estate portals put together, making the company the absolute leader in terms of virtual tours in Italy.

For example, even in the last 12 weeks, idealista has launched: Virtual Home Staging (VHS), a Video Tour feature, the "Virtual Tour" search filter (to select listings with digital content) and a real-time API to automate the export of listings on the portal. Gestim was founded by Angelo Semerano and Sergio Di Filippantonio, among others. It is located in Monteprandone, a small town near San Benedetto del Tronto in Italy.
