
The Triennale Teatro dell'Arte in Milan has hosted the third edition of immonext, an ideas forum organised by idealista to discuss the past, present and future of the real estate market with professionals and experts in the sector.
#10yearschallenge (the real estate of yesterday, today and tomorrow) is the central theme of this year’s immonext conference that, thanks to the talks from experts from all parts of the real estate sector, reflects on the future scenarios of the real estate market in Italy and other countries.
Led by Stefania Cavallaro, a journalist at Studio Aperto, immonext allows each speaker to give a speech of 15 minutes addressing a 360º vision of the real estate market, providing new avenues for real estate operators version 4.0.
In the opening speech of the event, Luca Frassi, commercial director of idealista, illustrated the impact of new technologies on the property market. "In 2008,” said Frassi, “the most common question was how to survive the crisis, and the answer was the internet. In 2014 we were the first responsive property portal, that is, one that was able to adapt our webpage to the device users search from.”
"In 2019,” he continued, “75% of our traffic comes from mobile devices. While in 2009 there were a few hundred agencies online, the situation has now changed profoundly. There are now 17,000 agencies online and more than 2 million properties for sale and long-term rental. idealista is the web portal with the largest supply of real estate.”
